Example scenario

module-a.js:

export { nonExistent } from './module-b.js';

module-b.js:

// nonExistent is not actually exported here
export const something = 'value';

With shimMissingExports: false (default), this would throw an error. With shimMissingExports: true, Rolldown will create a shim variable:
